Alfred Berger, Univ.-Prof. Dr., ist Facharzt für Plastische Hand und Wiederherstellungschirurgie und Chirurgie. Er ist Professor emeritus der Klinik für Plastische, Hand und Wiederherstellungschirurgie, Verbrennungschirurgie der Medizinischen Hochschule Hannover. Er ist Mitglied vieler internationaler Gesellschaften und Ehrenmitglied der UEMS/EBOBRAS, der ungarischen Handchirurgie und der kolumbianischen Plastischen Chirurgie sowie der DGPRÄC. Seine zahlreichen wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten befassen sich mit dem gesamten Gebiet der Plastischen Chirurgie und der Nervenwiederherstellung.

ard of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, Executive Committee) und die UEMS (European Union of Medical Specialists) akkreditiert. Prof. Pallua ist Mitglied oder Vorstandsmitglied vieler nationaler und internationaler Fachverbände. 2014 wurde er zum Präsidenten des EBOPRAS und 2015 zum Generalsekretär der ISPRES (International Society for Plastic & Regenerative Surgery) ernannt.
