Das im Jahre 1938 erschienene Buch des Verfassers "Momententafeln und EinfluBflachen fur kreuzweise bewehrte Eisenbetonplatten" brachte erstmalig Unterlagen zur Berechnung der Fahrbahnplatten von StraBenbrucken nach der Plattentheorie. Die Anleitung zum Ge-- brauch der Zahlentafeln war so gehalten, daB sie auch fur Statiker, denen die Plattentheorie nicht gelaufig ist, verstandlich sein solIte. Die verwendeten plattentheoretischen Formeln waren in einem Anhang wiedergegeben; die meisten von ihnen waren damals in keinem anderen Buch zu finden, nur der Losungsansatz war bekannt. Inzwischen ist in den Deutschen und den Osterreichischen Normen fur Massivbrucken die Berechnung der Fahrbahnplatten nach der Plattentheorie vorgeschrieben worden; Hand in Hand damit ging die Vermehrung des Schrifttums urn einschlagige Tafelwerke. Andere Tafelwerke dienen zur Berechnung von Deckenplatten und Behalterwanden. Das vorliegende neue Buch - der neue Titel weist darauf hin - umfaBt alle Anwendungs- gebiete: Es ermoglicht die aus/uhrliche Berechnung von rechtwinkeligen Platten unter beliebiger Belastung und fur aIle LagerungsfaIle, d. h. fur aIle moglichen Kombinationen von frei drehbar gestutzten, elastisch eingespannten und ungestutzten Randern. Die Kenntnis der Platten- theorie wird vorausgesetzt. Dem genannten Zweck dienen: 'Formeln fur die Durchbiegungen, Momente und Querkrafte in den GrundfaIlen; Rechenverfahren fur die weiteren LagerungsfalIe, die durch Uberlagerung mehrerer Grundfalle gewonnen werden; Zahlentafeln uber den Momentenverlauf bei Gleichlast, Dreiecklast und Randmome- angriff im Grundfall; . Tafeln uber eingespannte Rechteckplatten unter Gleichlast und Dreiecklast. Die Tafeln uber Rechtecklasten und EinfluBflachen wurden aus dem alten Buch uber- nommen und durch weitere EinfluBflachen erganzt. AuBer den Platten selbst wurden noch die die Plattenrander unterstutzenden Trager behandelt.
