Angier, Carole: - Carole Angier is the author of Jean Rhys: Life & Work (shortlisted for the Whitbread Prize) and The Double Bond: A Life of Primo Levi. She was educated at the universities of McGill, Oxford and Cambridge. She taught academic and life writing for many years and has edited several books of refugee writing. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature.

Bayley, Clare: - Clare Bayley is an award-winning playwright and short story writer. Her plays include Blue Sky, The Container, which won a Fringe First and the Amnesty International Award (Udderbelly, Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2007) and has been produced at the Young Vic (2009) and Chapter Arts, Cardiff (2010). For radio she has written In The Van, a 15 Minute Drama for BBC Radio 4 (2012), Portobello Beach for BBC Radio Scotland (2012), and for BBC Radio 4: The Secret Place, The Bringer of Sweets and Northern Lights. She is a former theatre editor of The Independent and currently teaches creative writing at London South Bank University, UK.

Cline, Sally: - Sally Cline, award-winning biographer, short story writer and winner of the BBC short story contest, is the author of ten books, including ground-breaking biographies of Radclyffe Hall, Zelda Fitzgerald, and Lillian Hellman and Dashiell Hammett. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Advisory Fellow for the Royal Literary Fund and a judge and mentor for the Arts Council Escalator scheme. She has an Honorary Doctorate of Letters from Anglia Ruskin University, where she is Writer in Residence and a mentor on the MA in Creative Writing.

Grace, Fraser: - Fraser Grace began writing for the stage whilst working for Back-to-Back Theatre, a Birmingham based touring company for which he also acted and directed. Perpetua was joint winner of the 1996 Verity Bargate Award. It was premiered at The Door, Birmingham Repertory Theatre in April 1999 in association with Soho Theatre Company.
