Born in Worcester, Ma. in 1947. Ron was educated in his home town of Shrewsbury Massachusetts. Further education came by way of the U.S. Navy, Viet Nam, Apollo 13 recovery team and 45 years of family living. Ron divides his time between his home in Worcester, and the shores of Cape Cod. His influences include Tom Waits, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Edgar Allan Poe, Ogden Nash, Ezra Pound and Rod McKuen. Ron is a member in good standing in the Worcester County Poetry Association, a member of the Works in Progress / Outlaw Stage at the Worcester Artist Group, Founding member of the Worcester Art Walk, and a member of the Warrior Writers of Boston. Those that have en- joyed Ron's previous work can be on the look out for future posting on face book, other E poetry sites and readings through out New England. Ron's first book published is titled "Goodbye Again" was given glowing reviews and can be found at Barnes and Noble or on Amazon or at his performances. Ron has also appeared and read on many television programs and he has also appeared at the Massachusetts State Poetry Festival in Salem, Ma. the Great Falls Word Festival at Turners Falls, Ma. and the Garlic Festival in Orange, Ma. He has currently completed a new collection of poems for his next books entitled Hello Again, Once Again and a fifth book in the early stages titled Yet Again.
