Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2008 im Fachbereich Romanistik - Spanische Sprache, Literatur, Landeskunde, Note: 2, Ruprecht-Karls-Universit t Heidelberg, Veranstaltung: Hauptseminar, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Der in Argentinien geborene Julio Cort zar schrieb zu Lebzeiten ein vielschichtiges Werk, das sich aus Romanen, Erz hlungen, Drehb chern Theaterst cken bis hin zur Lyrik zusammensetzt. Seinen Ruhm jedoch verdankt er den beiden literarischen Gattungen Erz hlung und Roman, wozu auch der 1963 erschienene Roman Rayuela geh rt, der als einer der wichtigsten spanischsprachigen Romane des 20. Jahrhunderts betrachtet werden kann. In der vorliegenden Arbeit soll nun ein Aspekt des Romans Rayuela behandelt werden, genauer gesagt seine postmodernen Merkmale. Ausgangspunkt ist eine Definition des Begriffes postmodern sowie dessen Herkunft. Anschlie end wird die Postmoderne im Zusammenhang mit der Literatur betrachtet, was hei en soll, speziell im Kontext mit Lateinamerika und besonders dem lateinamerikanischen Roman. Hierbei wird auch n her auf die Wurzeln des postmodernen Romans eingegangen. Im Folgenden werden Merkmale erl utert, die typisch f r den postmodernen Roman sind und die im n chsten Teil direkt auf Cort zars Roman Rayuela angewendet werden sollen. Dabei ist es angesichts der Einschr nkung dieser Arbeit nicht m glich, auf alle postmodernen Merkmale einzugehen. Stattdessen werden einige als wichtig empfundene postmoderne Merkmale aufgegriffen und n her betrachtet. Ein letzter Punkt der Arbeit widmet sich dann einer Schlussbetrachtung.
