Nach einer einführenden Darstellung wesentlicher Grundgedanken und Strömungen der poststrukturalistischen Theorie im Allgemeinen und der poststrukturalistischen Literaturdidaktik im Besonderen werden - anhand zweier Aufsatzsammlungen - Vorschläge für die didaktische Realisierung poststrukturalistischer Literaturaneignung im Unterricht analysiert. Gemeinsam ist allen Aufsätzen, dass sie nicht versuchen, neue Gegenstände für den Literaturunterricht zu erschlie en, sondern sich vielmehr mit geläufigen kanonischen Schulklassikern beschäftigen, dabei aber eine neuartige Herangehensweise anstreben, die sich von der traditionellen Hermeneutik abhebt. Dabei lassen sich zwei wesentliche Ansätze unterscheiden: die Dekonstruktion bzw. Pluralisierung von Deutungsansätzen sowie die Untersuchung intertextueller Verflechtungen und gegenläufiger Diskurse. Die Untersuchung kommt zu dem Ergebnis, dass die Unterrichtsvorschläge immer dann sinnvoll und realitätstauglich erscheinen, wenn sie übermä ige Komplexität vermeiden, konkrete Aufgabenstellungen für die Schüler entwickeln und die poststrukturalistische Analysetätigkeit mit handlungs- und produktionorientierten Methoden kombinieren. Wenig praktikabel sind allerdings diejenigen Aufsätze, die mit übertriebener Wissenschaftlichkeit an die jeweiligen Texte herangehen und dabei die zeitökonomischen Beschränkungen des Unterrichts ignorieren, zu wenig Wert auf eine angemessene didaktische Reduktion legen und dabei auf methodische Vielfalt verzichten.
