Viens, Mylène: - Née à Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu et ayant grandi à Gatineau, Mylène Viens est depuis toujours une passionnée des mots et de la culture. Journaliste et chroniqueuse dans l'âme, elle plonge dans le monde de l'écriture au secondaire lorsqu'un professeur l'invite à écrire dans le journal étudiant. Mettant en vedette le portrait de personnes d'exception, Mylène remporte les honneurs deux années de suite avec le prix de journalisme de son école en 2010 et 2011, remis par L'Étudiant Outaouais. Elle a maintenant la piqûre et ne peut plus cesser d'écrire! Quelques années plus tard, Mylène rentre à l'Université du Québec en Outaouais et complète un baccalauréat en communication avec une mineure en rédaction professionnelle. Habitée par une histoire, elle décide de réduire le nombre de ses cours durant une session afin de se consacrer à son projet d'écriture qui lui tient tant à coeur.
