She is lead breast pathologist and medical laboratory lead for cervical screening. She graduated from St George’s Hospital Medical School (now St George’s University London) having completed MBBS and a PhD in developmental biology. Interests include translation of research into clinical practice. She was the cellular pathology lead for SWLP during transition and has been Clinical Director for Cancer and a Divisional Chair at St George’s Hospital. She is currently an examiner for the conjoint examination board of the Royal College of Pathology and the Institute of Biomedical Science in cervical and diagnostic cytology.
