About The Book

Education is the light of life. It is the right to have quality education to everybody whereas education to the disabled through inclusive education has several setbacks and challenges. Inclusive education is an approach to combining in school environments with special education and general education students to promote diversity, lifelong learning, and create a more equitable society. The practice of inclusive education receives an increasing number of strong in improvements additional support and interest in education system in almost all countries in the world. This book highlights on the practices and challenges of inclusive education in primary schools and focused on the present status of implementation of inclusive education and the roles of local government and also the main challenges being faced to implement inclusive education, and initiatives taken. This research study was conducted at Gambella Town, Ethiopia. This book has emphasized on identification of challenging factor like physical factors, sociocultural factors, economic factors and personal factors which are the main obstacles for the implementation of inclusive education. This book explains that how to create a healthy and qualitative environment for better implementation of inclusive education and suggests remedies to overcome such problems. Definitely this book is useful and helpful to all those who are working in inclusive education field and also to the concerned departments of education.

About The Author

Dr. Karanam Viswa Bhushan, Associate professor of social work who has been working in Maharaja's Post graduate college(awarded 'A' Grade by NACC) since two decades (affiliated to Andhra university) Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh, India. He successfully completed the employment contract under Unite Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for two years as Associate Professor in Ethiopian Civil Service University, Ethiopia. During this tenure a lot of research work was done in various social issues. He secured his Bachelor's, Master's (Post Graduation) and Doctoral degrees in social work from Andhra university and awarded first rank with gold medal at post graduation studies. His area of specialization is community development. He secured International certificate in community development and Adult education at Nijmegen University, Netherlands. He has participated in several National and International (Belgium, Sweden, Netherlands, Germany, Thailand ,Malaysia and Canada) seminars, conferences and workshops and enriched with the knowledge of social work education. He has zeal of learning and great aptitude towards teaching and research. He has delivered guest lectures in several universities in Canada, Belgium and Germany. His focused areas are capacity building, empowering women groups (SHG' S, DWACRA'S), child education and health, youth development , Awareness building on social issues, community development in urban slums, rural and tribal areas. He has published several books on different social issues. Training programmes to personnel of the Non Governmental organizations and consultant services to Local, National and International organizations. He has good network with the NGO'S and promoted several programmes for the community development. He has Life membership in several National associations of social work education.
