Der Aufbau der Arbeit gliedert sich in einen theoretischen Teil und einen empirischen Teil. Im theoretischen Teil werden zunächst unterschiedliche Definitionsansätze erarbeitet und eine geeignete Definition für das weitere Vorgehen herausgearbeitet. Anschlie end werden einige Klassifikationsansätze aus der Literatur dargestellt und eine eigene Klassifikation von Unterrichtsstörungen präsentiert. Im anschlie enden Kapitel soll der Begriff Classroom Management in Bezug zu Unterrichtsstörungen näher beleuchtet werden. Anschlie end wird der jeweilige Forschungsstand zum Thema Prävention von Unterrichtsstörungen dargestellt und auf die Forschungen von Kounin, Evertson und Mayr eingegangen. Die drei Forschungen werden hinterher miteinander verglichen und bedeutungsähnliche Aspekte dargestellt. Der Forschungsstand wird daraufhin in Hinblick auf die neue Lernkultur reflektiert. Aus dem Forschungsstand lassen sich drei Dimensionen zur Prävention von Unterrichtsstörungen ableiten. Diese Dimensionen werden im dritten Kapitel aufgeführt und um weitere Erkenntnisse der Klassenführung reflektiert. Abschlie end zum theoretischen Teil, wird eine Umfrage von Nolting vorgestellt, die die Erkenntnisse in Hinblick auf die Unterrichtspraxis kritisiert. Der zweite Teil befasst sich mit der eigentlichen empirischen Studie. Hierbei werden die zu untersuchenden Fragestellungen vorgestellt und daraus Hypothesen abgeleitet. In Kapitel 4.2 wird das methodische Vorgehen beschrieben und theoretisch begründet.
