All the chapters are well-supported with figures and illustrative examples. The chapter-end exercises help to judge students’ comprehension on the subject.

SUNIL DATTA, PhD, is Former Professor and Head, Department of Mathematics and stronomy, Lucknow University. Dr. Datta has 40 years of academic experience, and is a recipient of many awards and Fellowships like Outstanding Teacher Award (Lions Club International, 1996) and Distinguished Service Award, Vijnan Parishad of India (1998). He has published/presented more than 70 research papers in national and international journals and conferences. He has authored textbooks on Tensor Algebra, and is currently working on a research monograph on Slow Viscous Flow.
