Inhaltsangabe: Problemstellung: Trotz der jährlich steigenden Verkehrsleistung und der stetig zunehmenden Verkehrsdichte auf den europäischen Stra en nutzen nur wenige Unternehmen das Angebot des kombinierten Verkehrs. Ein entscheidender Grund dafür, so die Unternehmen, liegt in den nichtwettbewerbsfähigen Preisen des kombinierten Ladungsverkehrs. Dass früher oder später mehr Transporte auf die Schiene verlagert werden müssen, ist unbestritten. Allein in den letzten 5 Jahren verlangsamte sich der Güterverkehr auf der Stra e um 10% aufgrund des gestiegenen Fahrzeugaufkommens. Ein Wandel der Entwicklung ist bisher nicht in Sicht. Anhand der Darstellung der Preisgestaltung entlang des Modal Split soll durch die Arbeit eine Möglichkeit zur Analyse des Gesamtpreises für den KLV gegeben werden. Hierbei wird das Problemfeld der Wettbewerbsfähigkeit der Preise des bimodalen Verkehrs unter Berücksichtigung der derzeitigen Rahmenbedingungen identifiziert und analysiert. Des weiteren werden auch Beispiele zur Problemlösung angeführt, die aufzeigen, dass ein kombinierter Verkehr durchaus vorteilhaft für Verlader und Transportunternehmen gegenüber dem unimodalen Stra enverkehr sein kann. Das Thema wird von zwei Seiten eingegrenzt: Zum Ersten erfolgt die Betrachtung des bimodalen Verkehrs Stra e-Schiene. Weitere Verkehrsträgerkombinationen mit den Modalitäten Wasser und Luft sind möglich, werden aber nicht tiefgreifender betrachtet, da dies zu umfangreiche Betrachtungen mit sich führen würde. Zum Zweiten erfolgt eine Eingrenzung bezüglich der Preisgestaltung: Die Betrachtung aktueller Transportpreise soll nicht im Vordergrund der Arbeit stehen. Einerseits wäre es kaum möglich, alle Tarife sämtlicher Unternehmen auf den jeweiligen Relationen abzubilden, andererseits verändern sich diese ständig im Laufe der Zeit. In erster Linie soll die Entstehung und Herausbildung möglicher und tatsächlicher Preise im kombinierten Verkehr betrachtet und aufgeführt werden. Dies geschieht anh
