After his diagnosis, Luis stopped running around the streets, selling and using drugs. He returned to his Christian roots and studied psychology, psychotherapy, and theology to understand why the good and the bad suffer in this world. Luis has had quadriplegia since 2006, when he was 41 years old. He now has lupus and has been sick for over 30 years.
