About The Author

Prima di tutto grazie per aver acquistato 'Prigioniero per sempre'. Sono Marleen Rossetti, olandese doc, dal 2000 vivo in provincia di Varese. Scrivo soprattutto nella mia lingua madre, ma anche in inglese e italiano. Nel 2013 ho pubblicato il mio primo libro, Elsa, la storia di una ragazza senza scrupoli. E' una storia difficile, scritta in modo tale che il lettore si cali completamente nel mondo di Elsa. Un mondo dove ognuno riconosce qualcosa della propria vita. Un libro che tocca tanti aspetti dell'esistenza: amore, odio, desideri, morte... Un altro mio lavoro è Virgo, quasi tutto amore. Virgo è una raccolta di poesie e storie. Il titolo deriva semplice-mente dal fatto che sono nata sotto il segno della Vergine. I racconti in questo libro, sono tradotti dal mio precedente libro Selfies of a Virgo, che ho pubblicato in Olanda e si trova facilmente lì nelle biblioteche e negozi. Le poesie invece, sono soltanto originali e non tradotte. Per gli olandesi ho una variante di Virgo con altre poesie nella mia lingua. Come extra, ho abbellito alcune delle composizioni con un'immagine colorata. Ogni singola parola che ho scritto nella vostra lingua, l'ho scritta con la passione che ho per la lingua Italiana, un idioma molto più romantico dell'olandese.
