Principles of Raising Godly Children deals with the essential foundational truths on which raising Godly children can be achieved. Many Christian parents' goal and desire is to raise godly children who love the LORD and obey Him, children of great decorum. However, without following the principles or the fundamental laws of truth by which this goal could be achieved, their efforts are futile, and their desires are only a mirage. Training must start early, you can easily bend a tree when it is young and tender. However, with time, the same tree becomes rigid, difficult to bend, and even impossible to bend without breaking it. Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." The child in this Bible verse refers to children from ages zero to seven. King Josiah was raised by his mother to fear and obey the LORD within this age bracket. He became king at age eight as a godly child and never departed from the way of the LORD until his death. Therefore, you must start training your child at Ground-Zero. Adequate time and resources must be invested in training. Training must be according to sound Biblical principles that prioritize parenting over friendship. Parents must have adequate knowledge and spiritual understanding necessary to protect their children from Satan and destruction.
Early years psychology says, "Give me the child until he is seven and I will make him what you want him to be." This psychology says that ages 0-7 are the formative years of a child's life; that is, character molding-wise. Everything else we do to mold a child's character after age zero to seven cannot be foundational and may not last. The philosophy is, "The earlier the better." This is secular psychology. The world and Satan understand this God-given natural principle and take due advantage of it. Unfortunately, most Christian parents disregard this principle. They have named their children goats (Kids) and left them in the hands of Satan to kiddify them through his kiddifying agents. Satan has deceived parents into leaving the most valuable period of training their children in his hands through social media, music, TV, cartoons, video games, and dolls. Has Satan used these devices as kiddifying agents to raise young kids and big kids, that is, young goats and big goats for Christian parents? This book also explores how Satan is influencing parenting through modern culture, using media, music, video games, and dolls to corrupt children. Through these channels, Satan has raised young souls disconnected from God and captivated by worldly influences. Kiddified children-untrained children who do not know God nor care about the things of the LORD. Children who have been turned into spiritual goats and dedicated to Satan for eternal damnation in hellfire. The book explicates the ten fundamental principles of raising godly children and the efficacy of persistent prayers for our children.McAnthony, Pastor Cliff: - Pastor Cliff McAnthony is a born-again Christian and a member of Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide.
