The text also addresses confidentiality, conflict, the duty to file in good faith, attorney advertising, and lawyer criticism of the judiciary.

David L. Hudson, Jr. is a graduate of Vanderbilt University Law School. He teaches first amendment and professional responsibility classes at Vanderbilt Law School and various classes at the Nashville School of Law. Professor Hudson was also a senior law clerk for Justice Sharon Lee of the Tennessee Supreme Court. He is a regular contributor to the American Bar Association Journal and the American Bar Association's Preview of United States Supreme Court Cases and the author, co-author, or co-editor of more than forty books."
