Dabei liegt der Fokus insbesondere auf organisatorischen Handlungsdimensionen, die scheinbar als Verbindung zwischen Profession und Organisation interpretiert werden könnten. Die zentrale Fragestellung der Arbeit lautet daher, welche Bedeutung die Dimension des Organisierens im Verständnis von erwachsenenpädagogischer Professionalität einnimmt. Zur Beantwortung der zentralen Fragestellung dieser Arbeit ist es im ersten Kapitel notwendig, eine Begriffsdefinition von Profession und Professionalisierung in Abgrenzung zu Professionalität vorzunehmen und in Bezug zur Erwachsenenbildung bzw. dem darin agierenden Personal zu setzen. Im zweiten Kapitel wird die Professionalitätsentwicklung in der Erwachsenenbildung in Bezug auf organisatorisches Handeln untersucht. Hierzu wird zunächst die erwachsenenpädagogische Professionalität detailliert dargestellt und in Bezug zur Organisation gesetzt, um anschlie end eine tiefere Definition des Begriffs Organisieren vornehmen und ihn auf pädagogische Spezifizität untersuchen zu können. Daraufhin wird das gegenwärtige Problem zur Trennung von Profession und Organisation anhand von wissenschaftlichen Beiträgen und dessen Auswirkungen auf die Professionalität von Erwachsenenbildnern detailliert dargestellt. Im vierten Kapitel werden die Begriffe Organisieren und Planen in Bezug auf ihre pädagogische Spezifizierung als Dimension von erwachsenenpädagogischer Professionalität vorgestellt und weiterführend unter dem Begriff professionelles Organisieren zusammengefasst, um anschlie end die Bedeutung von professionellem Organisieren in Bezug auf erwachsenenpädagogische Professionalität anhand von wissenschaftlichen Stellungnahmen untersuchen zu können.
