In dem vorliegenden Buch werden Voraussetzungen, Erfahrungen und Hinweise zur Entwicklung umfangreicher Softwareprodukte anhand kon- kreter im Informatikunterricht der gymnasialen Oberstufe durchge- führter projekte zusammengestellt und sollen damit zugleich für an- dere Projekte weitervermittelt werden. In den ersten drei Kapiteln werden drei Softwarepnodukte mit unter- schiedlichen Intentionen bearbeitet. In Kapitell wird mit dem Zeitschriften-Informationssystem ZINSY ein fertiges Softwareprodukt vorgestellt, das auch zur Katalogisierung von Büchern, Schallplat- ten usw. benutzt werden kann. Hauptziele sind hier die Vermittlung von Hilfen zur Analyse von Softwareprodukten und die Bereitstellung von Kenntnissen, die bei der Spezifikation, dem Entwurf, der Doku- mentation und Programmierung benötigt werden. Kapitel 2 gibt einen systematischen Uberblick über alle Phasen der Entwicklung eines Softwareprodukts. Dabei werden weitere Grundlagen des Software-Engineering und methodische Hinweise in die schritt- weise Bearbeitung des Projekts MUCHO (Multiple-Choice-Tests) einge- arbeitet. Die Dokumentation eines Auskunftssystems für die Berliner U-Bahn in Kapitel 3 zeigt, wie das Endprodukt einer Softwareentwicklung aus- sehen kann. Eine tibertragung auf andere Verkehrs systeme ist mög- lich. Für die Softwaresysteme in den Kapiteln 1-3 werden PASCAL-Programme angegeben. Sie sind sämtlich Ergebnisse von projekten mit fortge- schrittenen Informatikkursen. Kapitel 4 bringt zunächst eine Reihe von Vorschlägen für weitere Projekte, wobei auch Lösungsansätze gegeben werden. Es folgen Aus- führungen zum projektorientierten Unterricht und methodische Hin- zur Projektbearbeitung. In Kapitel 5 werden wichtige Begriffe aus dem Bereich der Software- entwicklung in einem "Lexikon" zusammengestellt.
