Projektarbeit aus dem Jahr 2018 im Fachbereich Didaktik für das Fach Deutsch - Pädagogik, Sprachwissenschaft, Note: 2,0, Technische Universität Dortmund, Veranstaltung: Förderschwerpunkt Sprache & Kommunikation, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Im Zuge des Projektseminars "Sprachförderung im Fachunterricht" wurden die bisherigen Ergebnisse des Projekts "Bildung durch Sprache und Schrift" (BiSS) thematisiert. Dieses Programm untersucht die in den Bundesländern eingeführten Angebote zur Sprachförderung, Sprachdiagnostik und Leseförderung für Kinder und Jugendliche im Hinblick auf ihre Wirksamkeit und Effizienz und versucht diese weiterzuentwickeln (vgl. Mercator-Institut für Sprachförderung und Deutsch als Zweitsprache 2017). Insbesondere wurden die Fragestellungen betrachtet, ob eine sprachsensible Unterrichtsreihe die mündlichen und schriftsprachlichen Kompetenzen der Schülerinnen und Schüler verändern und ob sich Entwicklungsunterschiede in den fachsprachlichen Kompetenzen bei Kindern unterschiedlicher sprachlicher Leistungsgruppen unterscheiden würden. Dafür wurden zwei Grundschulklassen, eine dritte und eine vierte Klasse, bei der Durchführung einer sprachsensibel geplanten Mathematikunterrichtsreihe beobachtet. Die Untersuchungen des BiSS-Projekts kamen letztlich zu dem Ergebnis, dass sich keine Entwicklungsunterschiede in den fachsprachlichen Kompetenzen der Kinder aus unterschiedlichen Leistungsgruppen zeigten. Daraus ergab sich die Folgefrage, welche Faktoren die unterschiedliche fachsprachliche Kompetenz bedingen könnte. Es wird vermutet, dass die Leistung der Kinder durch die fachintegrierte Sprachförderung in Form von Scaffolding, die von den beiden Lehrkräften unterschiedlich umgesetzt wird, bedingt wird. Als Scaffolding wird die (sprachliche) Unterstüzungshandlungen bezeichnet, die Erwachsene in der Interaktion mit einem Kleinkind einsetzen (vgl. Wood, Bruner & Ross 1976).
