Ungefähr 80% aller Aufträge, die derzeit von meinem Ausbildungsunternehmen, der PROTECH Consult AG, bearbeitet werden, sind in Projekten organisiert. Da die PROTECH, wie viele andere Firmen der Branche auch, begrenzte Kapazitäten hat, kommt es in der Praxis häufig vor, dass ein Mitarbeiter mehreren Projekten zugeteilt ist. Um diesen Problemen zu begegnen wurde innerhalb der PROTECH, unter dem Namen PROTECH PROJECT, eine Anwendung zur Projektsteuerung entwickelt. Ziel meiner Tätigkeit, während meiner Praxisphase, war es die Anwendung benutzerfreundlicher zu gestalten. * Eingabehilfen sollten in Form von Eingabedialogen umgesetzt werden, mit deren Hilfe der Benutzer mit Basisdaten gefüllte Dokumente erstellen kann. * Verschiedene Navigationshilfen sollten in Form verschiedener Schaltflächen, die es dem Benutzer ermöglichen sollen zwischen den verschiedenen Projektbausteinen hin und her zu springen, realisiert werden. Diese Arbeit ist in einen theoretischen und einen praktischen Teil gegliedert. Der theoretische Teil befasst sich mit den Aufgaben des Projektmanagements, sowie dem Projektablauf. Im praktischen Teil möchte ich auf die Funktionen der Anwendung, sowie auf die Umsetzung der oben genannten Aufgaben eingehen. Meine erste Aufgabe war es mich in die Funktionen der PROTECH PROJECT einzuarbeiten. Die Beschäftigung mit den Anforderungen an eine Anwendung zur Projektsteuerung, ermöglichte es mir die Funktionen der Software angemessen zu beurteilen. Ich begann damit, indem ich mich anfangs mit den theoretischen Ansätzen der Projektarbeit befasste.
