About The Author

Autorka vise od dvadeset romana, putopisa i eseja, Nada Marinkovic (27. novembar 1921 - 17. oktobar 1998) odavno nosi epitet jednog od najcitanijih srpskih pisaca u poslednjih nekoliko decenija. Rodjena u Karlovcu, diplomirala je na Filozofskom fakultetu u Beogradu, a postdiplomske studije pohadjala je na Sorboni. Bila je urednik i kriticar u Literarnom odeljenju Radio Beograda od 1950. godine, clan mnogih udruzenja knjizevnika i novinara u Jugoslaviji i inostranstvu, kao i Evropskog drustva za kulturu. Pored brojnih i razlicitih clanaka i feljtona u domacoj i stranoj periodici, objavila je u posebnim knjigama i brojne putopise i putopisne eseje ("Kina," 1958, "Stanice u vremenu," 1966, "Zagonetka casa," "Krug se zatvara," 1969, "Paganski Angelus," 1976), eseje ("O umetnosti"), publicisticke zapise, biografije i monografije, a medju vaznije publikacije spadaju: "Secanje na Krlezu" (1987), "Igra ogledala: zapisi o zivotu i umetnosti" (1983), "Mir i nemir Isidore Sekulic" (1974), "Vukova Mina" (1975), "Zivot i delo Vlaha Bukovca" (1980). Siroj citalackoj publici poznata je po pripovetkama i romanima koji su doziveli nekoliko izdanja, a medju tim delima se posebno isticu: "Godisnja doba" (roman, 1961), "Ludi jahaci" (roman, 1972), "Neobican dar" (pripovetke, 1973), "Prometej u traganju za vatrom" (biografski roman, 1987), "Razna lica ljubavi" (cetiri romana i trideset pripovedaka, 1989-1990), "Incest" (roman, 1991), "Slucaj" (roman, 1993), "Naslednici" (roman, 1995), "Nestajanje" (roman, 1996), "Dodir" (roman, 1996), i mnogi drugi.
