Es enthält neue Module, Algorithmen, Implementierungstools, Szenarien und Videos. Das Kurshandbuch ist eine unerlässliche Lektüre für alle, die an einem lokalen PROMPT-Kurs teilnehmen. Zudem ist es als eigenständiges Lehrbuch nützlich und bietet evidenzbasierte, aktuelle Informationen für alle Mitarbeiter in Gesundheitsberufen aus der Geburtshilfe.

Von Kaisenberg, Constantin: - Constantin von Kaisenberg ist Universitätsprofessor sowie Leiter der Geburtshilfe und Pränatalmedizin der Medizinischen Hochschule Hannover. Er wurde u.a. am Harris Birthright Research Centre for Fetal Medicine und am Rayne Institute for Molecular Medicine am King's College London ausgebildet. Er ist klinischer Experte für Pränatalmedizin und Geburtshilfe sowie Grundlagenwissenschaftler mit Schwerpunkt im ersten Trimenon der Schwangerschaft. Außerdem besitzt er ausgedehnte Kenntnisse im Management seltener geburtshilflicher Komplikationen und Schwangerschaften, die durch mütterliche Erkrankungen wie Herzinsuffizienz oder Organtransplantationen kompliziert werden. Er ist der erste deutsche Absolvent des Diploma in Fetal Medicine der Fetal Medicine Foundation und gehört zum Kreis der DEGUM III Ultraschallexperten. In jüngster Zeit hat er eine Initiative zur Verbesserung des multi-professionellen Trainings im Management geburtshilflicher Komplikationen begonnen und die PROMPT Germany gUG (haftungsbeschränkt) gegründet.
