März 1937, die er anlä lich der ersten Jahrestagung der Reichsfilmkammer in der Krolloper Berlin vor Filmschaffenden hielt. In den Tagebüchern des Propagandaministers und auch bei seiner Arbeit im Filmbereich, mit Mitarbeitern des NS - Propagandaapparates und v.a. in Kontroversen mit anderen NS - Führungspersonen wird diese Grundhaltung Goebbels immer wieder zu Tage treten. Felix Möller liefert mit seinem Buch Der Filmminister eine umfassende Übersicht zur Arbeit Goebbels auf dem Gebiet des Films und der Wochenschau. Tagebucheintragungen, die bisher noch nicht veröffentlicht, bzw. entziffert wurden ermöglichen auch die Aufklärung über die Funktion bestimmter Regisseure und Führungspersonen im NS-Filmsystem. Grundlage der folgenden Arbeit ist das Werk Möllers, zusätzlich wurde die Arbeit Wolf Donners Propaganda und Film im Dritten Reich, sowie Hans Barkhausens Gesamtdarstellung Filmpropaganda für Deutschland. Historische Quellen, wie beispielweise Protokolle oder Reden sind bei Gerd Albrecht in Nationalsozialistische Filmpolitik abgedruckt. Wolf Donner hat es sehr schön formuliert: Goebbels war die Spitze eines gigantischen, in der Geschichte einmaligen Kontroll- und Manipulations-Apparates. (Donner 1995: 14) Propaganda - Audivisuell, Der Film und die Wochenschau im Nationalsozialismus, unter diesem Thema ist die folgende Arbeit zu lesen. Unter Annahme, dass der grö te Teil der zwischen 1933 und 1945 produzierten Filme reine Propaganda gewesen sind, habe ich mich dem Thema gewidmet.
