Sarah Wright has found something of a routine in her unlife-if only the Universe would leave her to it.

Existence is complicated for three primary reasons: Sierra, Sophia, and Sam... not to mention the various Forces of Evil(TM) trying to do their worst to her. Maybe the vampire tradition of separating themselves from any mortal family or entanglements wasn't all that bad an idea. However, Sarah's not about to let trivialities like logical thinking and sanity get in the way of her emotions. She loves her family and will never leave them.

At least not until time says otherwise.

She's happy to suffer the complications involved in keeping the two sides of her existence separated, despite the line between them blurring more and more. One of her sisters is nearly as strong and fast as a vampire. The other wields magic, which occasionally even does what she wants it to. Her little brother hangs out with demons.

What could go wrong?

Oh, right, a group of brain-undead vampires trying to upend the very nature of society in a move that just might hurl civilization back to the Iron Age. The idea of vampires lording over mortals is not entirely awful... except, the iron age didn't have anime movies or PlayStations.

Sarah should probably try to stop them.
