Every life is precious. Disasters come in many forms, shapes and sizes, often unexpected. Whether natural or man-made, within a few minutes, they can cause massive loss of lives and serious damage to property which may take years to recover. Many reports, articles and publications on disasters are available as open-source. Several of these are included under the 'References' in each topic. In spite of a sizable level of information, the overall adoption and compliance of disaster management has been very low. Many businesses shut down within 24 months, unable to recover fully or in time. Sadly, the people in the lower economic strata seem to bear the maximum brunt. The various aspects of disasters are being studied by scientists in different countries to get a better handle on predicting, managing and recovering from them. Managing disasters well is an evolving science. Hopefully the emerging Info-Bio-Nano-Eco-Space technologies may open newer ways to predict, prepare and minimize the damage from these in the future. The Virtual D-DRS (i) Personal and Family Protection and (ii) Business Protection Modules are a compilation of various existing data presented in a simplified manner to enhance adoption and compliance. The Modules (SILVER, GOLD and PLATINUM) provide a good choice for each user to subscribe to the most appropriate one that fits their need. The printable POD pdf version is priced quite low and affordable, sufficient to cover the R & D costs. A part of net proceeds shall benefit the billions of poor in the world through charitable missions of the International 'We Serve' Foundation, a Public Charity. Business Protection modules (BPS, BPG and BPP) focus on the business - to help maintain critical operations, equipment and functions during a disaster and recover from it quickly. Ultimately it is all about protecting people from harm's way, be it at home or a business.
