Der Konzeption dieses Buches lagen zwei Gedanken zugrunde: Einem unerfahrenen Benutzer soll die Möglichkeit gegeben erden, sich ohne gro en Zeitaufwand schnell 1n die wichtigsten Möglichkeiten von PSpice einzuarbeiten; gleichsam "an der Hand ge- nommen" wird er durch leicht verständliche Er- klärungen geführt, unterstützt durch zahlreiche leicht nachvollziehbare Beispiele. Dem erfahrenen Benutzer soll dieses Buch helfen, auf gesuchte Informationen schnell zugreifen und diese problemlos auswerten zu können. Aus diesen Gründen wurde auf eine Darstellung des mathematisch-physikalisch Hintergrundes, der den Berechnungen und Modellen von PSpice zugrunde liegt, verzichtet; ebenso wurden nur diejenigen Befehle und optionen behandelt, die zu einem praktischen Arbeiten nötig sind. Eine Beschreibung aller Möglichkeiten, die PSpice bietet, hätte den Rahmen dieses Buches bei weiten gesprengt. Der in- teressierte und erfahrene Leser sei hier auf die englischsprachigen Handbücher der Universität IV Berkeley und der Firma MicroSim Corporation ver- wiesen oder auf "learning by doing", was beim Ar- beiten am PC wohl immer noch die wirkungsvollste Lernmethode darstellt.
