Dabei ist die Arbeit so strukturiert, dass im theoretischen Teil zunächst die Rolle der Psychologie in der medizinischen Rehabilitation vorgestellt wird. Anschlie end werden die Grundlagen der Diagnostik von psychischen Belastungen und Störungen dargestellt. Hierbei werden erst relevante Begrifflichkeiten erläutert, bevor speziell auf die Diagnostik und Indikationsstellung von komorbiden psychischen Belastungen und Störungen in der medizinischen Rehabilitation ein-gegangen wird. Auch werden in diesem Zusammenhang die Instrumente zur Erfassung sowie auch die Besonderheiten dargestellt. Im Anwendungsteil wird der psychodiagnostische Prozess in der orthopädischen Rehabilitation dann anhand eines Fallbeispiels veranschaulicht. Im Anschluss daran werden die Kapitel kritisch diskutiert, bevor ein abschlie endes Fazit erfolgt.
