In der Medizin erscheint es eher ungewohnlich, einen Jahrbuchband von den MaBnahmen und Eingriffen ausgehend zu strukturieren. Hingegen ist in der Psy- chologie durch das Standardwerk von Janis zur Auseinandersetzung mit chirurgi- schen Eingriffen und wegen der Bedeutung der Copingkonzepte eine Zentrierung auf die MaBnahmen, die sog. Stressoren, haufiger festzustellen. Die Beitrage dieses Jahrbuchbandes sollen exemplarisch eine breite Palette von MaBnahmen mit unterschiedlichen Akzentsetzungen erkennen lassen. Es wurden iiberwiegend EinzelmaBnahmen herausgestellt, die jedoch teilweise - wie bei- spiels weise Herzoperationen - auBerst komplexe Ereigniskonstellationen sind. So hatte man hinsichtlich der Analatresie als EinzelmaBnahme das Biofeedbacktrai- ning auswahlen konnen; es erschien aber viel wichtiger, fUr diesen Bereich den komplexen Zusammenhang von MaBnahmen herauszuarbeiten. Der bislang in der Fachliteratur weitgehend vemachlassigte Bereich der Ausein- andersetzung von Kindem mit medizinischen MaBnahmen ist dariiber hinaus in einem eigenen Uberblickskapitel vertreten. Die Psychodiagnostik ist in diesem Jahrbuchband kaum reprasentiert, da es be- dauerlicherweise nur wenig neue Ansatze gibt. Allerdings gehen die biochemi- schen und psychophysiologischen Methoden in eine Reihe von Beitragen zu den einzelnen medizinischen MaBnahmen ein. Eine der wenigen vielversprechenden psychodiagnostischen Neuerungen, namlich die computerunterstiitzte Selbst-und Fremdbeobachtung, wurde in diesen Band aufgenommen. Die Beitrage dieses Bandes solI ten insgesamt deutlich machen, daB es in der medizinischen Psychologie durchaus kontroverse Standpunkte gibt und daB For- schungsmethodik und Forschungspraxis eine groBe Streuung aufweisen. In dem Beitrag von H.-J. Meffert und dem EinfUhrungskapitel des Herausgebers sollte dieses Spannungsfeld explizit zur Darstellung kommen.
