Luís C. Matos é gestor de empresas, actualmente Presidente e COO da Digital Stream Interactive, ramo europeu da DSI Americana, companhia da área de New Media. Nasceu na freguesia do Bonfim, no Porto, em 1968. Viveu até aos 10 anos no coração de Trás-os-Montes, o que influenciou a sua formação humanista e determinou o seu interesse pelas tradições populares Portuguesas. Mais tarde acompanhou a sua família numa mudança para a região de Sintra, onde passou a juventude sob a sombra da mítica Serra que sempre o fascinou. Foi no intento de decifrar os seus mistérios que entrou em contacto com literatura ocultista que amiúde referia Ordens secretas como a Maçonaria e os Templários, apaixonando-se rapidamente pela gesta da Demanda do Santo Graal. Muito jovem ainda teve a boa fortuna de encontrar orientação para os seus estudos. Passou a interessar-se pela História desconhecida do povo luso, acabando por fundar com mais dois amigos o "Jornal Quinto Império", de que foram colaboradores - e amigos de largas conversas - nomes como Lima de Freitas, Agostinho da Silva, António Quadros e José Manuel Anes, entre muitos outros.
