In Gillian Anderson's words, Want "collects the letters of hundreds of women worldwide sharing their deepest fantasies. Presented by me --and including my own anonymous letter--, Quiero reveals what women think and feel about sex when they are free to be completely themselves."
Talking about sex involves femininity and motherhood, infidelity and exploitation, consent and respect, justice and equality, love and hate, pleasure and pain. Yet for many reasons --some complex, others not--, many of us do not talk about it.
In Want, Anderson presents unfiltered anonymous letters from hundreds of women with vastly different realities: from a Sikh woman who writes about a secret desire for her brother-in-law to an Apache woman who wants to be worshipped as a divine being; from a white British woman who simply wants one last proper kiss to another who likes to play at being a panther, to a Hispanic-Jewish woman living in Bangladesh whose climax is triggered by a doorknob.

Gillian Anderson is an award-winning film, television, and theater actress. Among other honors, she has received two Primetime Emmy Awards, two Golden Globes, three Screen Actors Guild Awards, and an Evening Standard Theater Award. Beyond her acting career, Gillian is a respected activist recognized internationally, as well as a champion of charitable causes and co-author, alongside Jennifer Nadel, of the book We: A Manifesto for Women Everywhere, which was included on the Sunday Times bestseller list. Last year, she founded the healthy beverage brand G-Spot, which promotes women's empowerment. In 2016, Anderson was awarded the Order of the British Empire for her services to theater. She lives in London with her three children.
