He presented a paper at the World Assembly of Teacher Educators, the University of the West Indies, Kingston, Jamaica in July, 1986. Mohit Chakrabarti is recipient of the National Award as a teacher-educator. As a critic, reviewer and poet he regularly contributes to journals in India and abroad.
