Raja Mahendra Pratap: An Undiscovered Legacy. He formed the first provisional government of India in 1915 in Afghanistan. That was all most Indians knew about Raja Mahendra Pratap. But archival research on his letters, articles, books and journals, which he wrote in profusion, reveals a much wider persona. The entire gamut of his activities in various fields such as education, the freedom struggle, social work, and world unity painted the figure of a visionary much ahead of his time. A patriot, a freedom fighter, a revolutionary, a visionary, an educationist, a social reformer, a prolific author and an orator, Raja Mahendra Pratap wore many hats simultaneously. But most of these facets of his personality have remained hidden from the history scholars and students, not to mention the general populace of India and the world, as his contribution, for whatever reasons, was represented in only a sketchy manner. The book Raja Mahendra Pratap: An Undiscovered Legacy by Dr. Toolika Rani and Prof. Madhu Rajput aims to present the erstwhile undiscovered legacy of a genius whose work and message for humanity survives the test of time. It brings to the readers the inner world of Raja Mahendra Pratap, his thoughts, his vision and their relevance in a world that struggles to seek remedies to its self-created miseries.
