He has worked in various capacities in the Government of UP as well as in the Central Government including District Magistrate of Gorakhpur, Saharanpur, Aligarh; Principal Secretary, Ministry of Rural Development, Government of Uttar Pradesh; Chief Election Officer, Uttar Pradesh; Special Secretary Ministry of Health, Medical and Family Welfare and Secretary, Department of Fertilizers, Government of India. He is currently posted as Director General, National Archives of India.★★★Devendra Kumar Sharma Devendra Kumar Sharma is a product of Allahabad University and holds a D.Phil. degree.
