1979-1987 Studium des Maschinenbaus und Promotion an der RWTH Aachen, 1987-1993 Oberingenieur am Institut für Regelungstechnik der RWTH Aachen und Habilitation. 1993-1998 Project Manager bei der Hoechst AG, 1998-2001 Geschäftsführer der DBT Automation GmbH. Seit 2001 Universitätsprofessor und Direktor des Instituts für Regelungstechnik der RWTH Aachen. Hauptarbeitsgebiete sind Verfahren zur Analyse und Synthese diskret gesteuerter Systeme, zur Prädiktiven Regelung und deren Anwendung im Maschinenbau.

Dr.-Ing. Alexander Bollig

1995-1999 Studium des Maschinenbaus an der Gerhard-Mercator-Universität Duisburg mit der Studienrichtung Mechatronik. 2000-2003 Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Institut für Regelungstechnik der RWTH Aachen, Promotion, seit 2004 Oberingenieur am selben Institut. Hauptarbeitsgebiete sind Verfahren zur Prädiktiven Regelung, Identifikation und deren Anwendung im Bereich der Automobil-Regelung.
