In diesem Zusammenhang stellt sich meist die Frage, ob die jeweiligen Ma nahmen für die Garantie der Sicherheit des Gebäudes und den reibungslosen Ablauf einer Evakuierung genügend waren oder nicht. Das wesentliche Anliegen des baulichen, betrieblichen und abwehrenden Brandschutzes ist die Gewährleistung der Personensicherheit. In Deutschland gibt es jedes Jahr rund 200000 Brände, 400 Brandtote und 4000 Brandverletzte mit Langzeitschäden. Die Ursachen sind u.a. technische Defekte, Fahrlässigkeit oder Brandstiftung. Zudem fiel bei der Recherche auf, dass zu dem Stoffgebiet bisher relativ wenig wissenschaftliche Arbeiten und Literatur zur Verfügung stehen. Zugleich lag darin ein besonderer Reiz, sich tiefgehender mit der Materie zu befassen. Die Bearbeitung des Themas "Räumungskonzept öffentlicher Dienstgebäude" geschieht unter der Fragestellung: Sind die derzeitigen Räumungskonzepte noch zeitgemä ? Das Bezirksamt Spandau verfügt über mehrere Liegenschaften. Die Beschäftigten konzentrieren sich schwerpunktmä ig in drei Dienstgebäuden, die sich vom Aufbau und von der Struktur grundsätzlich unterscheiden. Es handelt sich um ein komplett saniertes Dienstgebäude, ein ehemaliges Wohngebäude und ein mehr als hundert Jahre altes Rathausgebäude. Für die Dienstgebäude sind veraltete Räumungskonzepte vorhanden. Auf Grundlage des vorherigen Abschnittes ist nun die Zielsetzung dieser Arbeit, Brandschutzziele anschaulich zu beschreiben und damit verständlich und bewertbar zu machen. Durch Interviews wurden vorab die wichtigsten Voraussetzungen, der aktuelle Kenntnisstand sowie der aktuelle Nutzungsgrad in Bezug auf Räumungen beschrieben. Es erfolgten Hör
