About The Book

Ce volume réunit des contributions représentant différents axes de la recherche portant sur l'enseignement/apprentissage des langues vivantes, et particulièrement du français, présentées lors du colloque de l'AFLS (Association for French Language Studies), qui s'est tenu à Neuchâtel en septembre 2009. Les études de terrain apportent des éléments de réponses concrètes aux questions que se pose tout enseignant de français langue étrangère. Elles portent notamment sur l'apprentissage de la phonologie du français, la construction du discours oral ainsi que les convergences de l'oral et de l'écrit. L'acquisition de compétences sociolinguistiques par les apprenants, les facteurs favorisant ou entravant l'apprentissage de la langue pour les immigrants sont également l'objet de recherches empiriques décrites dans ce livre. Enfin, des propositions didactiques sont présentées pour permettre un enseignement plus efficace du lexique et de la grammaire.

About The Author

Alain Kamber est professeur de français langue étrangère à l'Institut de langue et civilisation françaises (ILCF) de l'Université de Neuchâtel. Spécialiste de linguistique de corpus, il s'intéresse plus particulièrement à la syntaxe (lexique-grammaire) et à la comparaison des langues. En outre, il mène depuis plusieurs années des recherches en didactique des langues vivantes, et plus particulièrement du français langue étrangère.
Carine Skupien Dekens est professeur de français langue étrangère à l'Institut de langue et civilisation françaises (ILCF) de l'Université de Neuchâtel. Outre son travail dans ses domaines de spécialités (histoire de la syntaxe et de la traduction de la Bible en français), elle poursuit, avec ses collègues, des recherches en lien avec les divers aspects de son enseignement de français langue étrangère.
