About The Book

Brian, one man in many thousands, signed himself up for an exciting deep space adventure. A one way journey to the furthest reaches of mankind's capability. The aim is to recolonise a distant world, similar to that of our own. 'G200867' has been identified as a 'Goldilocks' planet, one which is deemed comparable to earth's breatable atmosphere. The journey, at the lumbering speeds, takes a human lifetime to complete. However, the technology of putting the crew members into a deep sleep, at near cryogenic temperatures, allows each individual to make the journey in litte more than a blink of the eye.

It wasn't obvious, in any way, that the planet which they chose was already taken. Who would have known that they would have been faced with making some very difficult decisions. Know one expected to have to defend themselves. The special training which everyone was subject to, turned out to be a worthwhile investment in time and money.

Each and every soul onboard the gigantic ship, 'Recolonise One', has a very sophisticated suit, which acts as a life support unit, a soldiers uniform, a deadly weapon and more importantly the ultimate survival solution. Each of the survival suits has a build in artificial intelligence, which is capable of so much more than a computer. The AI can take contol of the whole suit, making the occupant just a passenger. The AI can take over repairs, combat situations and can even defy gravity with numerous anti-gravity generators.

Brian finds himself in numerous situations, excercising skills which he learned in his training, leading men and women into new chapters for humankind. He had no idea that he was made of stuff which inspires people. He thought that he was just 'doing the right thing', most of the time!
