Harms, Max: - Max Harms is a science fiction author and AI alignment researcher. Since 2009, he has devoted his life to preventing artificial intelligence from causing catastrophic damage to society. He works for the Machine Intelligence Research Institute (MIRI), where he researches the alignment of artificial intelligence to human values.
