It also addresses legal issues of digital technology and the evolving U.S. federal regulation. Both civil and criminal prosecutions are highlighted with an examination of the major cases that have arisen. Dr. Rosario Girasa is Distinguished Professor of Law, Lubin School of Business, Pace University, Pleasantville, New York. He is the author of four prior published works that range from cyberlaw, law of finance, and shadow banking. He is also the author of approximately 130 articles published in diverse U.S. and international journals.
