Cet ouvrage est consacré à la complexité linguistique, cette expression couvrant des théories et des points de vue observationnels divers et de ce fait, plusieurs concepts. La diversité des approches, présente aussi dans ce volume, est toutefois sous-tendue ici par un double noyau commun: d'une part, situer le fait langagier complexe à l'interface ou aux interfaces de plusieurs disciplines des sciences du langage et, d'autre part, l'envisager sous les angles de la production, de l'interprétation et de la représentation du sens linguistique. Ainsi, la complexité linguistique n'est pas considérée de manière indépendante relativement à chaque niveau de description, mais à la croisée de deux ou plusieurs interfaces: sémantique-syntaxe, syntaxe-pragmatique, sémantique-pragmatique. Elle est également située à l'interface des sciences du langage et des sciences humaines et sociales. Le concept de complexité linguistique dont il s'agit ici concerne: les signifiants, leur ordre et leur combinaison, les signifiés, leur sens et leur mise à jour dans le discours, le langage en contexte et au service d'un certain agir.

About The Author

Olga Galatanu, docteur en linguistique française, HDR en sciences du langage (Université Paris XIII) et docteur honoris causa de l'Université de Turku, est professeur émérite à l'Université de Nantes (CoDiRe). Ses recherches portent sur la génération du sens discursif et la reconstruction des significations linguistiques et sur la modalisation dans la perspective de la sémantique des possibles argumentatifs.
Ana-Maria Cozma, docteur en sciences du langage de l'Université de Nantes, est maitre de conférences au département de français de l'Université de Turku et membre du laboratoire CoDiRe de l'Université de Nantes. Ses recherches portent sur la notion de modalité qu'elle aborde dans la perspective sémantique et argumentative spécifique au CoDiRe
Abdelhadi Bellachhab, docteur en sciences du langage, est maitre de conférences HDR à l'Université de Nantes et membre du laboratoire Construction Discursive des Représentations linguistiques et culturelles (CoDiRe); ses recherches portent sur la construction du sens, l'acquisition des compétences sémantique et pragmatique, la pragmatique contrastive et interculturelle et la sémantique conceptuelle.
