This is about the King period of Israel and the days of the prophets. The Masoretic Text (Hebrew version) is known as the mainstay of the Hebrew scholars. There is the Septuagint or the Greek version of the Bible, the Latin Vulgate and finally, the Samaritan Text. The Sumerian King List shows the different ruling dynasties of the Babylonians and there are various sources for Egyptian Dynasties as well, such as the Turin Canon.
