She has lectured and written several books and articles to educate the public on natural healing and nutrition. Susan's volunteer activies have included serving as: the president of a non-profit corporation that managed a 35 year old inner city mission house; a board member for over one hundred associated churches that operate public food banks; a trained hospice worker, and an Advanced Master Gardener at Purdue Universities' Cooperative Extension. Susan lives with her daughter in the southern Outer Banks of North Carolina.
