El año 2014 va a ser, sin duda, el de madurez de esta publicación. Hasta ahora, después de tanteos iniciales en los que íbamos perfilando cuál sería nuestra línea, tras algunas oscilaciones en los primeros números, creemos haber alcanzado ahora el objetivo propuesto: divulgar la historia de una parte del siglo XX, la ocupada por el "fascismo", tal como corresponde al lema que adoptamos desde el primer número de la publicación: no ser ni apologistas ciegos, ni detractores sistemáticos, describir la Historia de cómo fue una parte del siglo en el que nacimos. En este primer número de 2014 abordamos temas que esperamos interesen a nuestros lectores. En primer lugar dedicamos el dossier a la historia del NSDAP en un período al que los estudiosos no conceden excesiva importancia, el que va desde 1924 a 1928, los cuatros años que median entre las reflexiones de Hitler en la prisión de Landsberg y el despegue definitivo del partido que le llevó cinco años después a ocupar el poder. Se trata de los años en los que Hitler rectificó algunas de sus ideas, puso orden drásticamente en el interior de sus filas, reconstruyó el movimiento, superó la división interior y creó una estructura y un estilo de trabajo que, una vez, elaborado mostró su eficacia convirtiéndose en una apisonadora electoral y política. El "caso español" es tratado en el siguiente artículo en el que abordamos un tema sujeto a confusión y sobre el que se suele tener una opinión errónea: las relaciones entre José Antonio Primo de Rivera y el general Francisco Franco. Contrariamente a lo que se suele pensar, tales relaciones fueron tensas y repletas de equívocos. Se conocieron... y recelaron uno del otro. En este estudio, cuya segunda parte publicaremos en el próximo número, abordamos la historia y los rasgos de este desencuentro. Las memorias de Stefano Delle Chiaie describen en esta entrega las operaciones desarrolladas por un grupo de neo-fascistas europeos exiliados en Bolivia durante los años 1980-1983. Los objetivos y las vicisitudes a las que se vieron enfrentados son narrados con extraordinario detalle en estas páginas escritas por su protagonista. La figura de Curzio Malaparte ya ha aparecido en la RHF como vinculada a Giménez Caballero y a Ramiro Ledesma, ahora lo abordamos en solitario y en tanto que escritor "fascista intransigente", primera parte de un amplio estudio sobre su obra que concluiremos en el próximo número. Finalmente, publicamos la aportación sobre la política continental del III Reich iniciada en el número anterior y que, sin duda, sorprenderá a muchos lectores por su lucidez y claridad.
