This book explores our body-mind from the perspective of physics, physiology, electronic engineering, software, systems architecture, robotics, informatics, and linguistics. It proposes a model of the mind based on a set of concentric mental rings, which form an evolutionary ascending hierarchy. The book explores how the ring of molecular robots of nanometric sizes (like the kinesin) emerged. After ascending several rings, we reach the cellular mind ring, which has more than 200 types of robots, including the neurons, with 86 billion neurons in our body. We'll learn: How rechargeable molecular batteries energize all robots. How bio-software is encoded and how it is stored in physiological memories. How molecular processors (ZPUs) execute bio-software. How a brain central clock synchronizes all cellular robots. Again, after ascending several rings, we reach the virtual mind ring, where we find the most potent mental processing systems like thinking, awareness, consciousness, and more. The virtual mind and its inner rings give rise to the existence of the human body-mind. The human mind and its inner rings give rise to the existence of the external mind, which expands our mental and physical capabilities, among other things, with artificial intelligence AI and augmented reality AR.
