I started writing when I was a child, mostly just scribbles and nonsense, but as a teenager I found it to be a great release from the troubles of life. I began writing poetry and songs, most of them very dark, and then fan fiction. All throughout school I wrote fan fiction and imagined myself someday writing a novel, but I didn't find the extra push I needed to actually do it until last year, when I finally published my first book. I now have three novels published and another few in the works, which will hopefully be better than the last two. I'll be honest: I've received mixed reviews from my first forays into the world of publication. Some people seem to love my writing and some seem to hate it. I realize I can't please everyone, but I hope that at least some of you will enjoy what I have to say. A few personal facts: I grew up in Arizona and have been living in Georgia since I was thirteen, I'm married to another writer and we're planning to co-author a few books together, I love the ocean, and the Harry Potter books are probably my favorite books ever.
