Inhaltsangabe: Zusammenfassung: In dieser Arbeit soll der Versuch unternommen werden, anhand von Weihreliefs und Götterreliefs zur Seite von Inschriften ein wenig mehr Klarheit in die religionsgeschichtlichen Verhältnisse Baden-Württembergs in römischer Zeit zu bringen. Dabei geht es insbesondere um die Fragen, welche Gottheiten überhaupt dargestellt wurden, ob sie aus dem römischen oder einheimischen Kulturkreis stammten, welche von ihnen am beliebtesten waren, was für Funktionen sie innehatten und inwieweit die Ikonographie Aufschlu über die Differenzierung der Kulturkreise liefern kann, d.h. ob eine Unterscheidung von einheimischen und römischen Göttern anhand der Ikonographie möglich ist. Ferner werden die topographische Verteilung der Reliefs innerhalb BWs und ihre genaueren Fundstellen untersucht, die vielleicht ebenfalls nähere Hinweise bezüglich der Unterscheidung der Götter und ihrer Aufgabenbereiche liefern könnten. Darüber hinaus sollen die Reliefs mit Weihinschriften und die Götterdarstellungen zur Seite von Inschriften untersucht werden, um Informationen bezüglich der Stifter, ihres sozialen Status und ihrer Kulturzugehörigkeit zu erhalten. Damit ist die Frage eng verknüpft, ob die Römer und die Einheimischen nur jeweils ihre eigenen traditionellen Götter oder aber auch die des anderen Kulturkreises darstellten und somit verehrten. Ferner sollen die Reliefs, soweit dies überhaupt möglich ist, in einen chronologischen Rahmen eingeordnet werden. Es sei hier noch ausdrücklich vermerkt, da Mercur als einzeln dargestellter Gott nicht berücksichtigt wird, da eine eigene Abhandlung über ihn im Entstehen ist. Diese Arbeit erhebt keinen Anspruch auf Vollständigkeit. Es wurden lediglich bereits publizierte Götterreliefs herangezogen. Doch obwohl sich die eine oder andere Götterdarstellung noch unveröffentlicht in Museums- oder Grabungsmagazinen befindet, dürfte wohl die überwiegende Mehrheit der Götterreliefs aus BW in dieser Abhandlung erfasst sein.
