From the very beginning, it weaves its way through various life stages, evoking emotions related to loss, grief, and the yearning for belonging. This narrative reminds us that the public's understanding of adoption is often limited to portrayals in media and the perspectives of adoptive parents, while the true experts on the topic are the adoptees themselves.
