Rosalina's Story tells of a young immigrant woman who entered the United States on a fraudulent fiance visa and, already with 13 year's experience as a prostitute, continued to apply her keenly-sharpened skill in attracting men. Many of the men she lured to her bed awoke to find their pockets empty; some never awoke at all. As a young woman without conscience but with a ungovernable fondness for money and real estate, she had a successful, four-year career in this land of opportunity. But of course all things come to an end, as did the life of her uncomprehending third husband. And with the end of his life came the end of her most profitable career, but not the end of her story.

Rob Woutat has been a freelance writer for 40 years and a newspaper columnist for 10. He has sold his work to the AP and to magazines and major daily papers in the Upper Midwest and has written commentary for the NPR affiliate in Seattle/Tacoma. He has written a full-length comedy and has given readings of his humor sketches to audiences large and small. His memoir "Dakota Boy" tells of his growing up on the plains of North Dakota, prior to his teaching career in Minnesota where he also directed plays and led students on wilderness expeditions from the Grand Canyon to Northern Alaska. He finally settled in Washington state where he lives with his wife on the shore of Puget Sound.
