There is no way she can afford to fall in love with the handsome rancher that makes her heart pound when she looks into his dark eyes.

When Marshall Montgomery inherits a ten-year-old boy in desperate need of a mother, he panics and sends for a mail-order bride. There is no time to spare in his life right now. In order to buy the neighboring property before the due date, he is desperate to get his cattle to market on time. To his delight and surprise, the mail-order bride shows up at the same time his nephew does.

Satisfied, Marshall can now go back to ranch business and let Ruby take over with the boy.

Will Marshall's drive to purchase more land and Ruby's determination to get her certificates back keep them both from seeing what's right in front of them? Can they both put their selfish needs aside for love?
