A la luz de los nuevos desafíos que encaran las Humanidades, y muy especialmente la Germanística, este volumen brinda una panorámica de las perspectivas de investigación actuales y futuras en los estudios literarios, culturales y lingüísticos, dando además cumplida cuenta de hitos pasados. El libro recoge los resultados de la XIII Semana de Estudios Germánicos
celebrada en Madrid en enero de 2011. Una serie de contribuciones se centran en el tema del exilio y su investigación. Estos artículos conforman una primera sección, en tanto que la segunda comprende trabajos de índole lingüística y la tercera, ensayos sobre estudios literarios o culturales.

Marta Fernández Bueno promovierte in Germanistik an der Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Neben Übersetzungen deutschsprachiger Autoren ins Spanische sind von ihr Publikationen zum Verhältnis von Politik, Macht und Literatur erschienen.
Miriam Llamas Ubieto ist germanistische Literatur- und Kulturwissenschaftlerin und unterrichtet seit 2001 am Departamento de Filología Alemana der Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
Paloma Sánchez Hernández ist promovierte Sprachwissenschaftlerin und unterrichtet seit 1996 im Fachbereich Germanistische Linguistik an der Universität Complutense Madrid.
Marta Fernández Bueno se doctoró en Filología Alemana en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Junto a numerosas traducciones al español de autores de habla alemana, destacan diversas publicaciones suyas en relación con la política, el poder y la literatura.
Miriam Llamas Ubieto es especialista en Literatura y Cultura alemanas y desde 2001 imparte clases en el Departamento de Filología Alemana de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
